Fall Canyon is near Titus Canyon in Death Valley. There are some fascinating displays of the power of water here, as it is mostly along a streambed, and some picturesque "slots".
The rock strata exposed here were amazing to look at.
About 3 miles up the canyon is a "dryfall", a waterfall which is usually dry, though there was a trickle when we were there. We backtracked a few hundred yards to a place where it's possible to scramble up some rocks and continue on another trail.
I elected not to do the rock scramble, but headed back to the car, where I hitched back to the campsite, but not before capturing some great afternoon shots.
